Planning Experience

Dr. Conn previously held tenured faculty appointments in Planning at UCLA and Virginia Tech. He also served as Associate Director of the University Center for Environmental and Hazardous Materials Studies at Virginia Tech. During his career to date, he has directed grants and contracts valued in excess of $2 million funded by such entities as the National Science foundation. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment, the Virginia Department of Waste Management, and the California Integrated Waste Management Board. He has consulted widely.
